2026년 9월 5일 개막하는 제16회 광주비엔날레 《너는 네 삶을 바꿔야 한다》는 라이너 마리아 릴케가 1908년에 발표한 시의 마지막 구절에서 제목을 가져왔다. 시 속의 화자는 부서진 고대 조각상을 마주한 순간 세상을 바라보는 자신의 방식이 뒤바뀌는 경험을 한다. 관점과 위치가 변하면서, 우리는 더 이상 이전처럼 계속 살아갈 수 없다는 사실을 깨닫게 된다. 나는 변해야만 한다.
1소개 Introduction
Opening on September 5, 2026, the 16th Gwangju Biennale You Must Change Your Life takes its title from the famous final line of a 1908 poem by Rainer Maria Rilke, in which a viewer confronts a broken ancient statue and suddenly finds their way of seeing overturned. Perspectives and positions shift, and you realize that we can’t go on as before. I must change.

- 접이식 우산은 가방 안에 넣어주시기 바랍니다.
- 어린이를 동반할 경우 보호자의 각별한 주의가 필요합니다.
- 전시 관람 중 주변 관람객에게 방해가 되지 않도록 조용히 관람해 주시기 바랍니다.
